A little about Jaydon’s Story:
Jaydon was born at 26 weeks, he weighed 2lb 7oz. As a result he has Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy. He cannot sit or stand unaided at present.
We went to Bristol and Oswestry Hospitals for an evaluation to have the Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) and he was refused due to lack of core strength. I then sent a pack of information to Dr Park in Missouri, and a couple of weeks ago we received the acceptance email, which stated he strongly recommends that Jaydon has the surgery and he predicts he will be able to walk with a frame or sticks in the future.
This is an absolute miracle for him. His independence will improve dramatically as at the moment he relies on adults massively.
He is a very bright, funny and popular young man and is doing well in mainstream school, but his lack of mobility is robbing him of independence and his childhood. Please help him if you can. For ways to donate please click here, Thank you!
